Annual General Meeting 2018
The 2018 AGM will be held on Tuesday 19 June between 7 pm and 8:45 pm
in Ealing Green College, Ealing Green, London W5 5EW
All are welcome. In addition reporting on the position after the referendum, we will also cover the latest news on the cinema site, 10 – 40 The Broadway (previously the ‘Arcadia site’), and the proposed sale by the Council of the Victoria Hall in Ealing Town Hall.
Formal business will be short, but will include the Chairman’s and financial reports for last year. The meeting will also elect the Management Committee for the forthcoming year, and be asked to approve an amendment to the constitution (as below) to extend the life of the Forum when it has renewed recognition from Ealing Council. Details of the present committee, including where there are at present some vacancies, are shown on a separate page.

Amendment to constitution
It is proposed that the first sentence of Clause 8 (Other general meetings) should be amended to read:
“In the period between AGMs, the Forum shall meet as a General Meeting of all members at intervals of not more than three six months.”
The following resolution will be proposed on behalf of the Management Committee:
“That the duration of the Forum as defined under Clause 12 of the constitution shall be extended for a further five years, ie to December 2023.”
This resolution is proposed to recognise that the work of the Forum in preparing the draft Neighbourhood Development Plan has been rather longer than anticipated, and extending its life for a further period will allow work to be undertaken on any possible revision well before the end of the approved Plan in 2026.
